Sometimes motherhood just makes me want to swear - you know, REALLY swear. As much as I refrain from actually saying those colorful words, I must say things can run rampant in my head. (Do I get extra points for not actually letting them loose?)
There's the good swear: "You are so ******** cute!"
And the not so good swear: "You little ******* you gave your baby sister a black eye?!!?!!"
And of course there are many more 'not-so-good-swears' that I just won't mention when it comes to the whining, fighting, tantrums, hour-long-dinner-eating-sessions, etc., etc. Now I know why my mom would just let them loose sometimes when I was growing up - it's just part of being a mom.

Cole and Lily look like twins (minus the age difference!) in that picture! They are both beyond adorable.
I love how blonde Lily is! And I totally understand what you are saying. I know I just have one but, wow, does he make me swear sometimes. :) Kudos for not letting it out!
What a very real post. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who has a hard time with those moments of parenting. I am glad to know what I am feeling is normal. =)

Just yesterday I had one of those swearing episodes (in church!!!) but I did it only in my mind when Mila puked on me for the 50th time and I went home. So, I TOTALLY understand. Lily is SOOO cute. She totally looks like her older brother.
I would pay BIG MONEY to hear those colorful words come out of Ashlee's mouth! HAHA
As for the blonde Lily and her lovely black eye...she still is so **** CUTE!!!!
I too say some colorful words under my breath. I occasionally let a moron, or brat come out too (in my head) Maybe I shouldn't have just admitted that on your comments page. Yikes, LUke is coming, I shouldn't let him read this....he still thinks I'm perfect. :)
All that and I didn't get to say how Lily kills me with that blonde hair. LOVE IT!
