Jace is back to school. Hip-hip-hooray! Now as a Pre-K student he is attending twice a week and is very excited about it. He keeps saying that this is his last year and then he gets to go to kindergarten. He wants to grow up so fast. On those long, exhausting, trying days I wouldn't mind that, but most days it's a bit sad to think how big and old he is.
We tried for a "first day of school picture" today, hoping that it would go better than last year's. Remember last year's picture?
Again he vehemently refused. Talking sensibly didn't work and either did bribery. Nothing. Nada. And so I did what any good mother would do, I tried to sneak one of him. And here it is:

Cole wanted his picture taken for preschool. So here is Cole on Jace's first day of Pre-K.

So funny! Jack is going through a no picture phase right now and it is impossible to get a good pic of him with him knowing it. Your boys are adorable!

I'm sorry, I know this was probably very frustrating for you, but I am laughing my head off at those pictures right now! I had forgotten about last year; that was too funny. I hope that cute boy gets over his aversion to pictures soon. Luckily it looks like Cole is more than happy to pose for you. Miss you guys!
Okay I love that you took another photo of him under the table. Those moments are when you think ... "really?" I am glad he was able to pull himself together to get to school. :) I love little Cole posing.
Holy cow! Those cannot be your boys! They are way too big. I can't believe how much they have grown since you moved. Still cute as ever, though (even when he's throwing a tantrum)!
Ash, that is just too cute!!! One day those pictures will be priceless. And of course my cute Colely-o-ly is adorable! And Jace's quote of the week is hillarious - BADLY parents huh? If only all parents were as BADLY as you guys are!!!

Well Cole just looks so grown up on Jace's first day of preschool. Jace on other hand....WOW!! He is somethin' else! He still needs to have a chat with me. I'm hopin' your afternoon was better than your morning.
You are such a mean mother taking pictures of your kids....On the other hand that would be hilarious when they grow up and look at themselves.
I love taking pictures of my kids when they are in the midst of tantrums. It gives me some sort of gratification for what I'm dealing with. Keep the pictures coming.

bAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh how i can't help but laugh at these moments of irrational behavior. Just wait until the roles are reversed and cole won't want to have his picture and jace will have to stand in! LOVE THEM!
I can't believe he is already refusing to take first day of school pictures. That usually doesn't start till the middle school years. Cole is growing up so much. They are both so adorable.
